After taking a couple of weeks off during the holidays, I was excited to get back to work and back into our routine. However, I know that with work comes less time spent together. With my travel schedule and Greg's busy event schedule, we have to put in a little more effort to make time for each other. We have always done a pretty good job at keeping one night a week reserved for date night and that has become a lot easier living in the Seaport. There are so many new retailers and restaurants popping up (what seems like daily) that trying something new is as easy as walking out our front door.
If any of you work from home like I do, you know as soon as Friday hits, you want to get out of the house and actually put on makeup and clothes that don't fall in the "sleep" or "workout" categories. So before we went to dinner, I wanted to do a little shopping and find some new pieces to wear. I also selfishly wanted to figure out what Greg needed for clothes so I could check off his Christmas list in the process. I hit the jackpot at Bonobos because Greg left with two outfits, one casual and one dressy, and he actually didn't hate the process. The guys at Bonobos Seaport were super helpful and pulled a ton of different pieces for him to try.
As for me, I had already stopped by For Now and snagged a gorgeous cape from Alice Walk and my new favorite bag from Welden but wanted to take another peek since they are constantly bringing in new designers. Since it's literally frigid outside, I picked up a scarf designed by artist Seth B Minkin.

After a little coffee at Caffe Nero, we went home and changed into something a little extra for dinner. I found this jumper on sale at Free People and went for one of the more daring colors to change it up from my typical neutrals. We decided to check out Tuscan Kitchen which is new to the Seaport. I have to say, we are total foodies and are always trying new restaurants and this place has one of the prettiest bars overlooking an open kitchen that I've seen. Besides the gorgeous decor, the food was amazing and we especially loved our server who gave us great recommendations.

All in all, it was a great Saturday well spent in the Seaport. We love this neighborhood and are so lucky to call it our home. For a full list of stores and restaurants and to keep up on all upcoming events, check out https://www.bostonseaport.xyz/.
